One person i would like to get to know more better is Mildred.  She is from New York and came over to Michigan in about 2000 or 2002.  One thing that makes her really mad is when people talk while she is talking or people talking and she can not here who is talking.  She hasn't Benn back since, she moved here because her son lives here.  In are talks every one ask questions about us to get what had a positive or negative effect in are life time.  Mildred also remind me of my mother because she never wont's to be bothered or do activity's that has no meaning to it.  I would like to have a one one one with her because she has a lot of history and a lot to say.

A few things that makes me great at my gob is having history with working with older people and a nursing home.  You have to be positive and not take in what the people say.  I have to be strong be able to talk loud and not scared to be hands on with the people.

Second week

This was are first week at the nursing home, but before we started we had to get a TB test done. I thought this would be fast and easy but it kinda stopped us from working with the people. Are group went to Packerd clinic to get the Tb test done but you have to wait 48 hrs to get it read to make sure we wasnt sick, so we had to go back on friday but the good thing about it is we got payed to get it checked. The two days that we went to the clincic we got to know all the people we mite work with and ice brakers, some was fun but had us think. On the other days we had guess speak on banking and picking the right banker. Im really looking forwadr to talking to a pt and can help me make sure i get on the right path to meet my goal.

First Day

Being at the nursing home could open up to many doors to my future and could meet new people that could help me. This wont be the first time i worked at a nursing home but im looking forward to it more this summer because i am a freshman in college at WCC. Being at the nursing home can help me see if i really wont to go in to the PT program.
